The LB Eagles’ high school, junior high and youth football seasons are rapidly approaching.  It should be an exciting and successful year! The 6th annual fundraiser to support football and the fitness center is being planned for Saturday, Aug 21. It will be LB’s “game day” of events, to support our football programs.  Last year the event raised $10,000!!  This year’s proceeds will be used for scholarships, field and fitness center equipment.   

To achieve success for our youth and community again this year, we need you!  Here’s how you can help; 

Donate an item for the auction.  All sorts of items are helpful, i.e., gift certificates, Iowa/Nebraska memorabilia, decorative items, electronics, etc.

(JUNIOR HIGH PLAYERS—We would appreciate your donation of an auction item, or a cash donation of $15 per family.) Please drop off auction items to Susan Logsdon any time or at the Friendship Center Friday night (8/20). 

Baked Good item for auction-(HIGH SCHOOL AND YOUTH PLAYERS-We ask that you please provide a yummy baked good for the auction.)

Bars, cookies, pies, salsa, bread, cakes 

Attend LB Game Day-Saturday, Aug. 21. Game day schedule: 

·         10 a.m.-Punt, Pass and Kick competition (Ages 8-15)

·         10 a.m. Power Volleyball-$60/team-Contact Brad at 898-3083 to enter

·         3 p.m. PowerAde (soap) Scrimmage-LB football practice field

·         4:30 p.m. Tailgate at old school site-free kids’ games

·         6 p.m. Auction-“downtown” Lawton

·         Texas Hold Em Tourney at Maxine’s following auction

·         9 p.m.-Street dance featuring Rev’d Up Rockers

Annual Football Auction and Street Dance

For the last 3 years the Youth Football program has partnered with the High School parents to hold an Auction and Street Dance to benefit the LB Football program.   One of the question we get is where does the money go?  All of the Money is deposited into a special Youth Football Account and used to support Lawton-Bronson Football.   Over the past 3 years the money has been used to buy weight equipment for the fitness center, construction of the new film room in the fitness center, A/V equipment for the new film room, chartered buses, CNOS trainers, and youth scholarships.
